Der er visse sliddele på en brændeovn, som man skal forvente at skulle udskifte i løbet af brændeovnens levetid
Værd at vide om træ
Generelt er normale danske løvtræsorter det bedste træ at fyre med. Det brænder jævnt, giver ikke megen røg og asken er ren og fylder meget lidt. Der kan sagtens fyres med nåletræ. Dette brænder dog lidt hurtigere en løvtræ og give mindre varme for samme volumen træ.
