Better indoor climate thanks to AIR
Modern homes are very wellinsulated. When using a wood-burning stove, you may experience that air in the room lacks humidity. It can also be difficult to achieve adequate air flow for combustion. Some VARDE stoves can be fitted with our AIR system, which takes air in from the outside. This can result in improved combustion, ensuring a proper, healthy indoor climate in your home.
Tips for efficient combustion with consideration for the environment
- Always leave 1-2 cm of ash in the base. - Lay out 2 larger (4-6 cm thick) pieces of firewood on the base. - Lay 10-12 (1-2 cm thick) kindling sticks on top, with plenty of air in between. - Place one or two firelighters among the kindling sticks. - Fully open all air grills. Once the fire is burning well, close off the primary airflow, then adjust the secondary airflow until there is a clear and vibrant flame.
